Ross Gaynor from Ardee, County Louth is an Irish professional footballer, who currently plays as a striker for League of Ireland side Dundalk.[1]

Club career

Ross made his name when he won the Golden Boot in the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland when he was jus 14.Ross had trials with Manchester City and Aston Villa but opted to sign for Millwall F.C .He began his career with Millwall but was released at the end of the 2007-2008 season, subsequently joining Cobh Ramblers. Gaynor signed for Sporting Fingal in December 2008 for the season, but joined Drogheda United on loan in July 2009. On the 9th of February 2010 he signed for Dundalk.[2]

International honours

At the age 18 he was capped by Republic of Ireland under-21 national football team and scoring twice on his debut.[3] His second cap came against Portugal.[4]

He was also capped a number of times at U23 level. The latest coming On 26 May 2010 against England C.[5]

He also has scored on his debut for the Irish under 17's 19's and 21's.
